Bram Stoker Award-winning Reads

The utterly awesome Bram Stoker Award.

Horror is a very old, very popular genre. October always makes that very clear. I know that every time the spooky season rolls around, I make sure to revisit my horror favorites. But the only thing as good as re-experiencing great scares is discovering new ones.

The Bram Stoker Award, named after the Bram Stoker, is the most prestigious honor for horror works. They are awarded by the Horror Writer’s Association and there are 13 categories in total. They range from First Novels to Screenplays to Poetry Collections. And did I mention that Young Adult and Middle Grade have their own awards too? This time, we're taking a look at Superior Achievement in a Novel.

Only a few of these titles took the incredibly snazzy trophy (featured above), but trust me—they're all winners.
