As much as I’d love to jet off to a gorgeous resort this Spring Break, I’ll sadly be stuck at home this year. One of the many reasons I love books is that they can transport us to faraway destinations while we’re curled up on the couch at home. Reading a good book is like sending your mind on a vacation, because even though you haven’t gone anywhere, your mind can travel to incredible places. Sometimes I get so absorbed in the book I’m reading that I don’t even hear a family member calling my name. Oops.
If you’d like to travel on a mind vacation this Spring Break, I’ve gathered some book recommendations that will captivate you and transport you to faraway lands.
The best part about mind vacations? They’re free when you check out books, eBooks, or Audiobooks from your library!
